Inspiration

the genre of our film is more likely to be drama, We were inspired by the film control by Ian Curtis and we also wanted to make something different to what people are doing.
The idea of our film is to show the protagonist having a panic attack in a filthy and dirty toilet, the scenes , due to what happened 6 hours earlier. Other ideas we had was to make a film about a geeky, nerdy character getting bullied in school, the film starts with him trying to commit sucide, we then see a flash black of why he wants to commin sucide.

In the film Control the film was shot in full black and white,
We were inspired by this and therefore choose we could Shoot the 2 minutes in black and white.
The last idea we had was to shoot the 2 minutes about a spy looking for a particualar material or thing in this house, hwen he gets a text from his agent that someones is comin to kill him in the house. We were inspired by the casino Royale film, In the opening sequence, the film was shot in black and white and then gradually change to coloured when the actual film started.
My team and I have decided to shoot the film bout the guy having the panic attack, we have decided to edit in black and white due to our two inspirations.
If our film was to be more than 5 mintues we would shoot the opening sequence in black and white and then coloured for the main film just like Casino Royale.
The name or titleof our film is Steady Lines, we chose this name beacuse it suites the film we won't to film and also very different to most film title.

Primilary Task Evaluation

Evaluation

This is the finish version of our Premilary Task. This Task was Meant to consist of camera and editing techniques like Match on action, the 180 degree rule and also to people exchanging a dialogue.

At the start of this task, my group and I didnt know how to go about this task, a few minitues later shaun taught of an idea of chappell being vulendrable in a situation with a gang member. I then started to draw up storyboards of how we going to shoot it. The short film was shot in windsor boys school, in and out of a building around the assembly hall. We chose this location because that part of the school looked more urban and muscline environment due to the lights used in thaat particular area, therefore this location was suitable our idea we had. In shooting our premilary task, equipments such as a mobile phone was needed, in other for chappell to call his mates for help, also costumes were needed but unfortunately we were in school, therefore we mostly shot it wearing school uniform.

When shooting the film, our communication within the group was good, this made it very easier for us to finish the task on time, also the storyboards we made also helped us a lot, since we knew what to do in the scenes, although some things went well, we also surffered some difficulties such as, in the process of editing the film, we couldn't figure out how to cut or get raid of some parts we didnt like the film, therefore i would say editing was a difficulty in making the film.

Overall I think our premilary task was successful and beyond average, although some aspects could be improved. In the primilary one of the task set was to maintain the 180 degree rule, in which we broke accidently, therefore our main thing to improve, is maintain the 180 degree rule in the film, also sounds wasn't not included into the film, making it a bit boring, therefore we could also improve it by adding sounds to the film.

Lessons learnt in making this premilary task is, carefully watch the camera techniques you using, mainly the 180 degree rule, also communivation with your group is also key to the success of the film.
