These are some more ideas we have on the table, trying to see how this goes

My group and I have so many ideas of what the poster of our short film is goin to look, we cannot decide what we should do for a poster, so I research on some movie posters that relates to our film 'ghost & Murderers to help us decide what we could do for our poster.

Some of the posters I looked at is Ghost, the poster shows two of the main characters, with the ghost faded at the back and the guy looking guilty infront. i Think this idea relates to our short as the attacker would look gulity and uncomfortable for killing someone for a material thing, with the ghost at the back of him willl show that his always not alone, but the victim he killed will always follow him. I also looked at Ghost Writer Poster, this also had two of the main characters in the the posters one of the character has got his hands in his pocket with a face expression signifying he hasn't done anything, but on the there's another character looking at him as he walks by, this signifies that he has done something wrong and he his be watched.

This is the blood scene, this video shows you how we put the make-up on my face and the bat, we also couldn't record as much on that day due to the fact that the camera battery life was low!!!.

This are some of the fails and re-shoot we did during the filming, and some things we had to do to shoot a film. Madnesss!!!

1st Draft Posters

We have now started to think about some ideas for the posters for the film . My group and I have been playing around with different efffects and software for the posters These are some of the posters below. Aqib has made a poster of him, showing him holding a bat with blood on it and wearing a hoodie, this shows the audience that he his the dangerous person in the film. while I have made a poster showing the victim has a human then fading out to a ghost has he moves on this goes with the theme of the film, as the victim is a ghost at the start of film. Blawal Butt has also made a poster of him in a track suite and Aqib Hussaing standing with his hoodie and Bat. The background of the picture shows the oark, signifying where the murder was taking place. This is some of the ideas we have got and hopefully we are goin to emerge this into one poster.

Practice shots of the first fight scene

This video shows the test shots we made during the fight scenes, we had to make sure the punches and kicks look realistic enough in the film, without us getting hurt in the process, this scene was one of the difficult filming we had to do.

2nd Video Diary

After some days and weeks of bad wheather, the sun finally came out, so we went out shooting our film. Although it was a warm sunny day, which we wanted, it attracted tourist and so many people were at the park, therefore the car park was full with cars. so we couldn't re-shoot our first scene which is were the victims car keys gets snatched. The video also shows the location which we are goin to shoot the film and some tourist attractions in that area of windsor. Its Madness!!!

These are the costumes for our film, this presentation consists of clothing and props needed for shooting of the film. We decided that since the film is about a victim getting robbed and murdered, the attacker should wear black clothes(black jacket and Tracksuit Bottom) as shown in the presentation, the victim will be wearing casual clothes, but since blood is involved in this film, we decided that the victim, will be wearing white t-shirt and a light blue jeans in order for the audience to see the blood clearly. Other Props such as the baseball bat is for the murder of the killing, this is the attacker's weapon. The car, BMW 6 Series will be the reason why the attacker murders the victim, attacker snatches the keys from the victim, which eventually leads to a fight, then murder. We also bought fake blood for dressing up the victim when he gets murdered.

1st Draft:Walk In the Park

This is the first draft of our film walk in the park,we tried different agnle shots and location on where the scene is going start, e.g the train scene.We decided also to make the scene dark as it relates to the film due to the fact that a victim is been murdered and therefore making the film more interesting, but when we were editing the footage, the scene was too dark and made it look unprofessional as you can see in the video. So we have decided to shoot it earlier on in the day when the sun is a bit out. This draft has shown us what we are doing wrong in shooting and editing the video ,we have learnt from out mistakes, hopefully we will make better scenes than this.
